Junque in the Trunk
Living in New England is an ideal setting for someone who has a love of found objects and antiques. Weekly, as I drive between the small Connecticut towns on my route, I detour into thrift shops, charity donation centers, garage sales and auction houses looking for unique items to decorate my home. When I flip through the Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware mail order catalogs, I'm pretty pleased that I've been able to mimic those design trends - for a fraction of the price.
